New to Pomdemic?

It's a weird little tradition that started during the pandemic to celebrate our seniors in the Picnic Point area. It's not church sponsored at all, we don't have money or permission, it's just an extra way for us to support our teens. It's usually an all nighter and the teens dress up something major.

Who can come?

If you are a high schooler in our Bev Park ward, you are invited.

What's different this year?

When this tradition started the kids didn't have much going on, finding a date was easy peasy. This year coordinating with our three seniors was a nightmare because they are busy doing great things. After much consternation it was decided that this year Promdemic would weirdly be on a saturday night and we are not going to Kingston this year we are staying local. Since we are sticking in our own neighborhood we thought it would be fun to move the kids around in a pack. Drop off your stuff at the LeBarons at 6:00pm and then dinner at a fun person's house and then a dance and then games and then try to stay up all night at the LeBarons.

Rules?

  1. Teens will be dropped off at the LeBarons with their stuff and then be transported for the rest of the night by parents only. We'll need at least 2 other van drivers besides me.
  2. Even if you drive or walk to promdemic indenpendly you cannot leave without the escort of a parent until Sunday morning.
  3. You have to go to church so I don't catch hate for loving fun 😇.
